Job hunting experiences

I've just finished job-hunting, and am looking forward to starting an exciting new job! During my time job-hunting, I ended up making a couple of fun things to aid applications... ;o

Pop sensation

One online form had a field asking me to, in 120 characters or less, tell them what makes me "unique". I created this masterpiece of film and music, and sent them a link. I was yet to hear back when I got my current job offer, so I may never know how it touched the hearts of my potential employers.

Trees vs posties

One company asked me to name three fundamental differences between trees and postal workers, and three things they have in common. After a sensible answer about botanical trees, here is the remainder of my (smart-arse) response. You may find you are...tickled.

DIFFERENCES
TREE (data structure)
POSTAL WORKER
Abstract concept
Physical being
Can represent unions
Can be represented by a union
Defines a hierarchy Is part of a hierarchy
THINGS IN COMMON

POSTAL WORKER
Organises information

Corrupt references can result in no longer being a tree. Fraudulent references can result in termination of position as a postal worker.

I'm hopefully going to start my new job on Monday if the paperwork gets processed in time. Hooray :)
